Handsome Little Man {Whatcom County Child Photographer}

Four year old Taysen was a total sweetie and tons of fun during his session. He was quite taken with my cats and playing games and had me smiling the whole time.

Week 1 of 52 (June 22 - 28) {Whatcom County Child Photographer}

It has occurred to me on more than one occasion over the last few years that I spend so much time behind the camera, that there isn't always proof that I actually exist and spend time with my kids. Unless I force the camera into my husband's hands, it's rare that I spend much time in front of the lens.

A fellow photographer friend of mine is doing a 52 week challenge and I've decided to join her. So, once a week for the next year, I will be posting at least one photo that includes me in some way, with at least one of my kids. My tripod and remote will get more use this next year than they have in the past 5 combined!

To the other parents who might read this and think "that sounds like me - always taking the pictures and not in them", I strongly encourage you to accept this challenge as well! Our children will appreciate this someday. =)

Ok, so here is my first "official" photo for the challenge. I took some with each of my kids today, but thought it fitting to use one with my firstborn for week 1. =)

Nine months old! {Whatcom County Baby Photographer}

My littlest man turned 9 months on the 13th! Such a sweetie, and a mama's boy (which I love!). He wants so badly to walk that he's having a hard time learning to stand alone since his feet start moving as soon as they touch the ground. =)

My 10 year old twin nephews were visiting last week from Sweden, and I was thrilled to be able to borrow them for a quick session! Miss you already, boys!

These two brothers (2 of my darling nephews) and their cousin were fun to work with, and all just adorable! Happy Father's Day to their dads and grandpas!

What a great way to commemorate the graduation from 8th grade to high school! This gorgeous girl and her mom, Debra, were a lot of fun to work with.
