I had a great time at Boulevard Park with Amanda and her mom last week. I really enjoy doing senior sessions and she was just such a natural and so beautiful!

Week 10 of 52 (Aug 24-30) {Whatcom County Child Photographer}

We went out to Birch Bay with friends tonight and had a really great time. I pulled the kids around in this wagon for about 10 minutes in the grass, and they loved it. =) It was so nice to have all 3 kids in one spot, doing the same thing, and sharing what little space they had with each other, without "don't touch me with your foot", "hey - that's where MY leg goes!", "leave me alone", "Mooooooooom!", etc, etc, that I was somewhat expecting for the older two. Ryan loves being with them, so he was giggling the whole time. Joey and Connor abandoned him fairly quickly after this photo was taken, but it was fun while it lasted.

Week 9 of 52 (Aug 17-23) {Whatcom County Child Photographer}

Ok, so, I'm late posting AGAIN. But here's week 9! I wanted to post a photo with my little Connor Man who just turned 3 on the 19th, but there are NONE from this past week. Not even at his party (because you-know-who was taking all the pics!). So here's Ryan and me at the party, instead. Don't you just love the pirate earring his grandpa put on him? :)

Itty Bitty and Perfect! {Whatcom County Baby Photographer}

Little Miss Sydney's parents are long time friends of ours. Over the years I've done their engagement photos, wedding portraits, the maternity session only a couple weeks before she was born (5 weeks early!), and though I *just* missed the actual birth, I was at the hospital to take photos of her parents holding her for the first time, her getting her first bath, etc. Of course I was thrilled to get to do the first photos of their little girl!

She was 10 days old when we did this session, and weighed in at only 5lbs 5oz -- 1 oz. shy of her birth weight. Congratulations to her parents!! :) I had a hard time limiting myself on here, so there are quite a few. :)

Week 8 of 52 (Aug. 10-16) {Whatcom County Child Photographer}

Ah the Fair! My 2nd favorite time of year (after Christmas, of course). I love everything about it -- the lights, and the sounds, and the food - funnel cakes, mini donuts, cotton candy..... Mmmm! But for the past 5 years, my very favorite part about the fair is the pure joy and happiness on my childrens' faces when we're there. They're so excited about all of it. The food (so many new and sugary things to try), the rides, the toys, the carnival, the animals, the exhibits, and on and on. Today we spent the whole day at the county fair and it was a blast! I only went on one ride, and that was to take all 3 kids on the carousel. It was Ryan's very first (and only, till next year) fair ride and he LOVED it! Laughing and smiling the whole time, and excitedly jabbering in that special 11 month old language.



P.S. I can't believe I'm here posting this week's photo before Saturday! Yea me! :)

Sweet Family {Whatcom County Family Photographer}

I had a great time with this beautiful family last week at Hovander park. Little Miss "S" was just the cutest little thing, the pup actually cooperated for the most part, and the parents were super nice and so easy to work with. :)
