Today is one of the only days I look forward to during the Fall. (I'm not a fan of rain or being cold, which is pretty much all fall is around here, lol.) It's the day we go to Stoney Ridge, the pumpkin farm! It is so cool there, and the kids absolutely love it! Lots of neat places and set-ups for photos, animals the kids can look at and feed, a hayride to the pumpkin patch and back, a corn maze and a bin maze, yummy pumpkin or apple pie, etc. We always have a great time there and today was no exception. =)
(Thanks to my friend Rachel for taking this photo for us!)

Week 15 of 52 (Sept 28 - Oct 4) {Whatcom County Photographer}
I completely missed week 14 (oops!), and now I'm late posting Week 15, but it was taken Saturday, I promise! I've just been super busy lately.
Anyhow... My lovely sister, Bethany, is the manager at a local salon/spa and decided that Joey and I needed to come in and have our nails painted (honestly - I think she just wanted to show off Joey to all her coworkers, but needed a reason to get us in there, lol). So we went Saturday morning and since she wanted us to match, I let Joey pick our colors and designs. She had her finger and toes done, I just had them do my toes. It turned out pretty cute, but more than that, I really do treasure time I get with just Joey. I love my mom soooo much and really like spending time with her, and I want Joey to feel the same way about me now and in the future when she's an adult. We went to the salon, then to a coffee shop for muffins and italian sodas, then to a store we can't go in when the boys are with us (too much of it is easily breakable!). And at the end, she said to me "Mommy, I really like when it's just you and me. I had a lot of fun with you today". That girl melts my heart! =)
